Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.

Support Communications
If you contact us through the support or contact forms, we collect the message content, your contact details, and any information you choose to share so we can respond.
Sensitive Information
You may choose to record information that is sensitive, for example health, medicine or care notes, or copies of identity, visa, residency or insurance documents. This information is only collected when you choose to add it, is stored to provide the service to you and the household members you share with, and is subject to the same security measures as other account data. You can edit or delete this information at any time from within the app.

- Provide, maintain, and improve our services

Data Storage and Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Data is encrypted in transit, and account and household data is stored in encrypted form.
Account and household data, including notes, records and uploaded documents, is primarily stored on servers we operate in the United Arab Emirates. Some supporting services we rely on (for example, authentication, push notifications, crash and error reporting, email delivery and analytics) may be operated by third-party providers whose infrastructure runs in other regions. See International Transfers below.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
Data Sharing and Processors
We may share your information only in the following situations:
- With household members: Information you add to a shared household is visible to the other members of that household.
- Service providers / processors: We may share limited data with third-party providers who process it on our behalf, for example cloud hosting, sign-in (including Google Sign-In), app distribution and in-app purchase processing through the Apple App Store and Google Play, push notifications, crash and error reporting, email delivery, and analytics. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your data and to process it only for the purposes we specify.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
- Business transfers: If PodQ Limited is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred subject to the protections in this Privacy Policy.
International Transfers
We are based in the United Arab Emirates and primarily store account and household data on servers located in the UAE. Because some of the supporting services described above are operated by international providers, limited categories of data, such as authentication identifiers, push notification tokens, crash and error logs, email metadata and analytics events, may be processed outside the UAE, including in the United States or other countries where those providers operate.
Where personal data is transferred to processors outside your country, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the data protection terms and standard contractual clauses (SCCs) offered by those providers, to require a comparable standard of protection for your data.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt out of marketing communications
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us.
Data Retention
We retain your account, household information and uploaded documents for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account at any time, after which we will delete or anonymize your personal data, including uploaded documents, within 30 days, except where we are required to retain limited records (for example, billing or legal records) under applicable law. Backups are retained for a limited period and are overwritten on a routine schedule.
Information About Household Members, Including Children
Homelog is intended for adults to keep household records. Accounts are created and operated by adults, and the service is not directed to or designed for use by children.
As part of running a household, an account holder (typically a parent or legal guardian) may choose to add information about other household members, including children, such as names, dates of birth or ages, schedules, reminders, medicine and care notes, and related documents. Adding this information is optional, and the account holder is responsible for ensuring they have the right to enter information about other household members.
We treat information about minors recorded in a household with the same safeguards as other personal data described in this Privacy Policy, and apply the same retention and deletion rules. If you believe information about a child has been added to Homelog without the appropriate authority, please contact us so we can review and remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this privacy policy periodically for any changes.
