Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your Homelog account and everything in it at any time, in the app, or by asking us.

Delete from inside the app

The fastest way is in the app itself. Open Settings → Account, then choose Delete Account. You'll confirm it's really you, and your account and the household data tied to it are removed straight away. This is available on both iPhone and Android.

Or ask us to do it

If you can no longer sign in, or you'd rather we handle it, send the request below from the email on your account. We process deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email when it's done.

What gets deleted

  • Your Homelog account and sign-in identity
  • Households you own, and the records in them, care and medicine notes, schedules, reminders, vehicle records, receipts and contracts
  • Documents and photos you uploaded, including any identity, visa or insurance copies

What may be retained

We may keep limited billing or legal records where we're required to under applicable law, and routine backups are overwritten on a schedule rather than erased on the spot. Everything else is deleted or anonymized within 30 days.

This mirrors the retention and deletion terms in our privacy policy.

A note on shared households

Deleting your account removes the households you own. If you were only invited into someone else's household, deleting your account removes your access and your personal account, but the household itself stays with its owner. Ask the household owner if you need records there removed.
